Holy month of Ramdan is approaching the end and in some part of Muslim worlds Eid day (1st Shawwal) shall be observed tomorrow. Eid is major festival day among Muslims and those who have honestly seek remission from sins in month of Ramdan are the privileged ones. May Allah give them courage to continue good doings for the whole year. I want to congratulate Palestinians Muslim in particular. They have stand against Israeli vultures and came through as victors. True Champions who did not comprised on their dignity and land. These are people on which Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) would be proud and Palestinians martyrs surely would be getting soaked from Hauzu'l-Kausar this time around. The idea of abolition death sentence is advocated by Amnesty International. In Pakistan suspension on execution of death penalty was imposed by President Asif Ali Zardari in June 2008 for an initial period of 5 years. After the exhaustion of the period in 2012, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif under the pressure of European Union (EU) and other International Human right activists directed the interior ministry to halt executions till further orders. The supporters of suspension beliefs that Pakistan judicial and police inquiry system is too incompetent that does not guarantee a fair trial hence a sacred human life can be sacrificed where there exists doubts. The opponents argue that if death sentence is not available how courts and society can convict offenders of heinous crimes like terrorism, treason, rape and jail break?
